A New Electric Bus Launch in Moray, Scotland

We’ve been keeping ourselves busy over the last few months, working with Moray Council and HITRANS preparing for the launch of the new electric bus service – m.connect.

We started working on the project back in March, getting to know the team, the area and of course the bus! Moray Council and HITRANS loved our campaign pitch, brand development and launch ideas. So, all we needed to do was to make it happen …


  • Brand personality

  • Creative, developing a flyer, posters and other promotional items

  • Bus vinyl – managing the design, production and application of the bus wrap

  • Photoshoot – coordinating and managing a full day shoot to get campaign imagery and video footage to provide the client with a full suite of assets for future promotion

  • Media – working with our media supplier to secure a great deal on promotional activity with the local station MFR,

  • Radio promo – organising both ongoing radio advertising and a presenter promotion / competition to maximise engagement with the audience.

Everything was building up to the press launch on the 13th June, with all our hard work paying off and phase one of the campaign activity going live.

The eco-friendly bus service offers customers a 'hail and ride' option - meaning the driver will pick up and drop off passengers at any safe point along the route, which takes in Aberlour, Craigellachie, Knockando, Archiestown, Dallas, Rafford and Forres. Ideal for commuters thanks to the convenient timetabling, for tourists hopping between Speyside's countless visitor attractions, and for connecting locals in Moray's rural communities who would otherwise reply on public transport and their cars to get around.
